I strategize, design, code and produce digital experiences. A team player and a leader working remotely and where I'm needed. Have a look around and if you're looking for a multidisciplinary digital designer / creative director –!
Elsevier is a global leader in scientific, medical and technological information serving over 30 million scientists, students and healthcare professionals. I work closely with their Global Internal Communications team to provide a wide range of digital communications ranging from motion graphics and video to internal promotional campaigns and a custom Drupal intranet website and presentation library.
"Felt Media has been a trusted business vendor since early 2010. Whether we’re talking high-level strategy or down-to-earth promotional campaigns, they always offer a creative, original, realistic and comprehensive approach. It’s a pleasure to work with Jeff and Liv!" — Joyce Hobbelink, Senior Communications Business Partner, Elsevier
"The video was a very big hit, thanks to you both and Liv! Lots of requests for using it internally and externally, so I think it was well worth all of your considerable effort." — David Ruth, Senior Vice President, Global Communications, Elsevier
Six Points aims to redefine Kosher food as cuisine with broad appeal. With new restaurants in the works, I'm assisting in the digital branding transition of their various assets and prototyping Shopify models for how the business could transition its upcoming marketplace to e-commerce in the future.
For eight years, I worked closely with the fantastic teams at C2 Creative and GO! Experience Design in New York to meet their clients digital needs. I designed and developed a variety of brand assets for Bank of America including multi-lingual interactive presentations for their Home Mortgage / First time buyers program, the Museums on Us website, a national college event where attendees where photographed on green screen and entered to win a contest via online retrieval and maintained a partner website with the History Channel documenting the company's rich history in the story of America.
MemLife encourages the preservation of personal histories which are all too often not recorded. I designed and developed the app works across all devices and makes it easy to create a Life Book for yourself or a loved one. Our mission includes raising awareness for Alzheimer's disease.
Located in the Lehigh Valley, Particle Sciences is one of the world's leading contract drug development companies. We designed and developed a brand marketing package that included a mobile friendly website, print materials, presentation templates, an event booth and an interactive kiosk. The Lubrizol Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway company with annual revenues exceeding $7 billion, acquired Particle Sciences in 2014.
Andrew Gay Jr. is not your average Philadelphia attorney. Andrew's personal attention, meticulous preparation and dedication to delivering outstanding criminal defense and personal injury trial results are what have made him succeed for thousands of clients over the last fifteen years. We make sure his identity, video and web marketing efforts reflect his unique legal passion and make him stand out against the competition.
Premium, custom cabinetry doesn't have to break the bank – yet cabinets are one of the the most expensive purchases homeowners will make and typically the biggest cost in redoing a kitchen. Hart & Sapp offers a premium line of custom and stock options at affordable prices. I designed a logo and branding identity, Squarespace website (coming soon) and meeting kit to match their business model of integrity, tradition and modern thinking.
HealthKit needed an identity to grow on, starting with a product that would stand out against hundreds of direct competitors. I gave them a clean, modern look to rival direct competition, differentiate among the growing herd of stock probiotics and be adaptable for future product lines. HealthKit Probiotics are repeatedly selling out on Amazon and we're working toward building out the brand with a website and new product.
Many projects I work on can't be shown publicly – send me a note if you’d like to see the protected work page.
Christmas morning. A stack of boxes nearly as high as the ceiling held an Apple IIe. I'd spend the next several years hacking around in BASIC, but mainly arrow keying and joysticking my way through games like Karateka, Dig Dug, Wavy Navy, Castle Wolfenstein, California Games, Lode Runner...
After studying painting in London at the world renowned Slade School of Fine Art, I graduated with honors from Mason Gross School of the Arts. Next, I waited tables at a less renowned Italian restaurant while I freelanced from my roommate's computer designing graphics for a company that, as it would turn out, wound up being just a few weeks behind the launch of Evite.
The dot-com boom. I was ready for travel and change and could feel the momentum of the west coast calling me. I packed my bags and spent a month on the road with my future wife. On arrival, we had no money, but I put an Apple G4 on a credit card, locked myself in our tiny apartment for two weeks and learned HTML, CSS and Flash. In under 30 days, I had a job as an Interactive / Flash designer.
Within a year of being at Monolith Interactive Solutions, I advanced to Senior Designer and led a five person creative team working seamlessly with management and the development team. I led the design for clients like American Airlines, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bechtel, Destination Films and lots of startups. Eventually the company was sold to a global logistics group for software that I designed in collaboration with the development team.
After the Monolith doors were closed, I began freelancing for local agencies and clients like Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Radio Shack and a handful of small businesses. At the same time, I operated an electronic music netlabel that delivered millions of mp3s (legally, before Creative Commons) which culminated into being a panel speaker at an international netlabel festival in Zurich.
My wife, Liv and I decided to merge our print and digital talents into Felt Media and move back east to Philly. Within weeks we began designing some of the first websites for Philly agencies and over the next decade we went on to produce websites, Flash interactives, CD-ROMs, motion graphics, logos, print collateral, massive touchscreens, projections, etc. for agencies and clients like GO! Experience Design, C2 Creative, Todd Street Productions, Cadient Group, AstraZeneca, Red Tettemer, Elsevier, Wyeth, Bank of America, Hershey, PowerBar, OKI, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer...and many more.
Felt Media has started branding and developing its own products while we continue to pursue new opportunities as a team and independent creatives...perhaps your company will be added here next!

I'm known to intently iterate design, code and branding with the single goal of making people, brands, products and businesses stand out from their competition.
